Parkdean are looking for a Maintenance Assistant! This role will carry out general maintenance and repairs in line with the planned maintenance schedule to improve customer and owner experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide an efficient support service to resolve guests Holiday Home issues.
• Ensure that all external areas such as car parks, paths and roadways are kept clean, tidy and well maintained.
• The siting and de-siting of Holiday Homes.
• Carry out fleet snagging and the maintenance of Holiday Home sales stock.
• Gas delivery to Holiday Homes as required.
• Provide an efficient strimming and grass cutting service around the park for excellent standards to be maintained and to improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that all maintenance work that is carried out is in line with the Health & Safety policy to maintain the safety of all team members, guest and owners at all times.
• Ensure that all required maintenance jobs are recorded on the company system with the time taken and parts used.
• Ensure the good working order of all equipment and plan, prepare and implement a maintenance schedule to keep all in good working order and to be serviced in line with the Health & Safety policy.
• Operation of the mobile radio system.
• Consistently seek out new personal development opportunities including pre-existing courses found in the internal training brochure.
• Embrace and promote the Parkdean Resorts values through the effective use of various tools such as the “Creating Amazing Memories” training.
• On occasion you may be asked to perform additional duties or duties unrelated to your role after appropriate training has been given.
• You have a duty to safeguard your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, customers and visitors. You also have a duty to co-operate with Management to enable it to comply with its health and safety duties.

Requirements

• Ideally have experience within a maintenance trade.
• Have experience of providing quality grounds and landscaping work.
• A relevant tractor driving licence and experience of siting Holiday Homes would be advantageous.
• Experienced in the use of maintenance and gardening equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer focussed.
• Proven ability to work as part of a wider team.
