NTU is a great place to work. We take care of our colleagues with flexible and competitive packages, and the opportunities for genuine professional progress. We respect and value all our staff, because we know that it takes a strong and diverse workforce to maintain the kind of success we’ve achieved.
Our award-winning research is celebrated around the world, and we’re proud of our strategic partnerships. It’s all down to the ability of our people to shape, create and innovate, in whatever capacity they work with us. Our continued success — underpinned by the number of prestigious national awards we’ve won — has hinged on two commitments: creating excellent global collaborations, and harnessing the talents of all our people.
NTU is a university at the peak of its powers, but we know we can still go even further. Join us in our mission to become ‘the university of the future’ — seize the challenge and adventure of working with an organisation where progress never stops. This is your career, reimagined.
The NTU Global office is seeking an organised and internationally inquisitive individual to provide day-to-day administrative support to the Global Student Opportunities team, focusing in particular on supporting students studying at our partner Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) and helping them to prepare for progression to NTU.
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver results, contributing to the realisation of the University’s Connecting Globally ambitions, developing experience within key areas of internationalisation in higher education and ensuring a high-quality professional service for NTIC students from first contact onwards. The role involves responding to queries and advising students about their progression to NTU, and contributing to the organisation and operation of key events and student facing activities. This role will suit someone with strong administrative abilities, excellent team working and organisational skills, and a keen interest in working directly with students of varied backgrounds.
Closing date for applications: Monday, 6 September 2021
Please note that all candidates are required to submit a CV and covering letter (this letter should be 2 sides of A4 maximum) detailing how they meet the knowledge, experience, skills and competencies required for the role. Applications submitted without both a CV and covering letter will not be considered.
Interview Date: Week commencing 13 September
