Snowy Monaro Regional Council is looking for our next Finance Support Officer.

Where it’s located:
This position is based at our Berridale office.
About the role:
This position supports our finance team and would be suited to a highly motivated individual looking for a career within finance and accounts.
Reporting into the Management Accountant, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Account and Bank reconciliations
- Provide timely, professional customer service to internal and external customers
- Processing customer payments
- End of month supplier payment runs, processing of credit cards and fuel cards
- Support to finance team in preparing annual financial statements
We are seeking:
- Certificate III qualification or above, in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline with demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role; or substantial contemporary experience in a similar role to support contemporary knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work in a busy team environment that demands high levels of concentration while coping with frequent interruptions
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated experience in customer service environment
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office suite and high level accurate data entry
