POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for development and support of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and supporting systems with a secondary focus on IT support.

The ERP Software Developer role will work closely with our existing development team to extend functionality of our ERP system. Additionally, this position will be the primary point of contact for users experiencing ERP related issues. This role will involve software monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving issues reported by end users. This role will also be required to assist with IT helpdesk requests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Development and support of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and supporting systems

Business analysis as related to developing new processes and functionality

Documenting configurations, issues, and resolutions

Providing IT-related support for end-users

Support and maintenance of other IT-related services and systems as necessary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 years’ experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar ERP system

Job related experience with C#, Java, or similar object-oriented programming language

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL or other RDBMS

OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:

Must be able to learn and support new and rapidly changing technologies

Familiarity with a wide range of standard office hardware and software

Strong customer service orientation

Excellent interpersonal and other soft skills

Strong analytical skills: the ability to understand problems and provide appropriate solutions

Familiarity with and ability to understand business, financial, and common accounting practices

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION MAKING

This position has considerable responsibility regarding defining and executing procedures, plans, and schedules. Maintaining production systems and minimizing downtime during operating hours is imperative. Individual must use their best judgement to work within acceptable parameters defined by the business.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

This position requires handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. Employee interactions must be handled with diplomacy and tact. Individual must be able to gauge the employee’s technical ability and communicate with them in appropriate technical or non-technical language with patience and a friendly attitude.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma

Occasional travel to other company offices.

Lifting and/or carrying of 15-30 lbs. or more when necessary.

Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License

Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check & drug screening

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
