We are offering an innovative Software Test Engineer to join a new Digital Acceleration software team in Craven Arms, Shropshire. An exciting opportunity to create the next generation technology of automated solutions in the lab environment. Our aim is to investigate, identify and develop new products, processes and technology that will enable a smoother laboratory workflow for our customers to gain trusted answers and insights efficiently.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to understand analytical workflows to support our development of Web Applications with manual and automated testing. Working together with software development teams to develop innovative test concepts for our software platforms as member of a SCRUM team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement test campaigns, functional test cases to validate customer workflows using our broad portfolio of Liquid Chromatography instruments within key Chromatography Data System platforms and additional Applications.
• Establish the definition and development of automated test case framework, Blackbox/Whitebox testing for functional, integration and system testing
• Execution of test campaigns and evaluation of results from manual and automated tests
• Work with R&D engineers and Product Marketing to apply the correct test concepts for functional, system, workflow, and integration tests
• Ensures traceability across requirements, test cases and defects
• Produces and executes required Product Lifecycle documentation to ensure Agilent’s quality metrics are met
