Role Description The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining, executing, and scaling the overall sales strategy at The 66th. This role oversees the entire revenue engine, including new business development, account expansion, and the optimization of sales processes and systems. The CSO will lead and mentor a distributed sales team, set performance targets, design compensation plans, and ensure consistent execution of best-in-class sales practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing the sales pipeline, partnering with marketing and delivery teams to refine ideal customer profiles and offerings, and using data to forecast, report, and improve sales performance. The CSO will regularly engage with key prospects and clients, represent the company in strategic conversations, and contribute to positioning The 66th as a leading SEO and GEO partner in the market.
Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B services or agency environment.
• Strong background in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM optimization, and performance analytics.
• Demonstrated ability in Team Management and Training, including hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing, remote sales teams.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable sales processes, playbooks, and compensation structures aligned with company growth goals.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, or related fields; familiarity with AI-driven tools and platforms is an asset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with marketing, product, and delivery leaders.
• Strategic and analytical mindset, comfortable using data to drive decisions and refine go-to-market strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in senior sales leadership roles.
