Chamberlain College of Nursing Hiring for Business Development Consultant – Higher Education Job at Remote Full Time

We are currently seeking individuals across multiple regions of the U.S. This is a fully remote position.

This is a business development role in which our Consultants establish and develop innovative partnerships with area hospitals, hospital management companies, community colleges, and other organizations to promote our degree programs.

This unique role encompasses promotion, outreach, marketing, public relations and healthcare while representing a fast-growing leader in healthcare education. In partnership with our marketing team, you will cultivate strong relationships with healthcare industry leaders to develop strategic opportunities for growth. Your exceptional presentation and people skills will be tremendously valuable as you represent the institution at a variety of engagements, including job fairs, orientations, graduations, “lunch and learns” and other meetings.

• Procure new organizational contracts and maintain current relationships.
• Meet with current and prospective partners to further develop new student sources
• Under direct supervision, negotiates new and revised contracts with external organizational partners.
• Attend events such as recruitment fairs and trade shows in the healthcare industry to market programs and develop inquiries.
• Under guidance from the manager, participates in training and developing lower-level staff members including one-on-one training/development sessions and suggesting development plans along with talent management initiatives
• Recommends changes in procedures to improve the effectiveness of the team/function
• Completes other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or other directly relevant discipline; Master’s degree is a plus
• 5+ years of successful sales experience, including managing a sales process
• 2+ years providing services and/or education directly to the healthcare industry
• Ability to establish, strong relationships within the local hospital and healthcare management industry
• Motivated, ambitious, and energetic, with a service and strategic mindset
• Ability communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deliver effective virtual presentations
• An appealing personality with the ability to quickly build rapport and inspire trust in others; naturally effective when interacting with a wide variety of people in individual and group settings
• Flexible and adaptable, recognized as a team player who enjoys collaborating and sharing successes
• Ability to travel locally up to 80%
• Consistently make ethical decisions and can focus on doing what is best for students and Chamberlain University

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:
