Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust are seeking 2 x Finance Apprentices to join our Financial management team who will be responsible for assisting Directorate finance teams in ensuring the production of accurate monthly financial performance reports, entering journals and budget virements into the ledger, undertake analytic work and assist in providing advice and support to budget holders.

Trust will provide support in: –

• Achieving an accounting qualification in AAT level 2/3 (Association of Accounting Technicians)
• Working within the organisation to gain confidence, experience and build a portfolio of evidence for apprenticeship accreditation.

• Gaining work experience in the finance administration processes, participate in appropriate training opportunities, and understand the role

For areas where our teams work to staffing rosters, rosters are set in advance at a team level and you will be joining an established roster. Your rostered shifts will be confirmed to you when arranging your start date. We will consider requests to vary working patterns in line with our flexible working policy.

For all substantive roles the appointment of every new member of staff (excluding medical and dental staff) to a post is subject to a 6 month probationary period, details of which are in our Probation Policy.
