Job Description:

Hey there! We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our growing team. This person will report directly to our Software Engineer and assist with all functions of software coding and design. The role will be responsible for developing, deploying, and testing in various software technologies, application programs that support the business. The Software Developer is involved in all areas of software development from developing, testing, refining, and improving solutions to requested features using current technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Software Engineer with all aspects of software design and coding
• Attend and contribute to company development meetings
• Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills
• Writing and maintaining code
• Support internal staff on internal application and work on minor bug fixes
• Monitor and maintain the technical performance of internal systems
• Respond to requests from the development team
• Write reports & Conduct development tests
• Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in .NET framework using C#/VB.NET
• Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as AngularJS
• Strong foundation in SQL preferably Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiar with reporting applications such as Crystal Reports and/or MS SQL Server Reporting Services
• Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Excellent communicator – clearly communicate requirements, challenges, and product ideas
• Detail-oriented

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or comparable work experience.

Compensation:

• $63,000-$85,000
