Doron Precision Systems, Inc. is a world leader in driving simulation systems and now has an opening for a full-time Software Engineer in Binghamton, New York.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• 2-4 years related experience.
• Design and programming experience with C, C++ (OOP), Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Software development experience both in a team environment as well as working independently.
• Significant experience with Windows UI and application development.
• Experience with Interface Control Requirements and Documentation.
• Background in real-time simulation and/or game development.
• Some minimal travel may be required.

PREFERRED

• Working knowledge of vehicle dynamics.
• Experience interfacing to I/O hardware and real-time control loops.
• Experience developing and working with distributed network applications

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the research, design and writing of software for Company Products.
• Supports/installs software applications/systems.
• Tests new and existing software for faults and corrects any deficiencies.
• Modifies existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
