Premier Community Hiring for Finance Assistant Job at Mansfield, England Full Time

The Finance Assistant  reports to and is accountable to the Finance Manager. 

A full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to gain experience and develop skills and knowledge within a busy Finance Department.

The responsibilities/tasks of the Finance Assistant  are:   

• Maintain, investigate, and reconcile all company electronic monitoring systems. 

• To maintain weekly reports to support finance colleagues.

• Support staff members, clients & Social Workers with issues or concerns. 

• Prepare company purchase order.

• Ensure all local authority Purchase Orders match to commissioned time on our systems.

• Raise queries and report differences to local authorities and internal staff members.

• Administration tasks for the Sales Ledger and Payroll.

• Purchase Ledger matching of purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices and preparing payment schedule.

• Communication via telephone, internal systems & emails etc.

• Providing administrative support and accurate updating of all company databases.

The Candidate:

• Computer Literate with good Microsoft Office skills
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in finance/accounting

• Excellent English & Mathematic skills

• Proactive attitude to work.

• Must work to targets, deadlines and have a keen eye for attention to detail.

• The ability to work effectively and flexibly within a small team.

Training to be provided:

• Full training on all company systems and procedures will be provided.

Work Hours:

37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday 9 am – 5pm)

Rate of pay: £20,000-25,000 a year
