The Staffing Coordinators role includes ensuring the community has appropriate amount of nursing staff scheduled to provide hands on care, physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling nursing and care managers in accordance with the community and state ratios.
• Using the scheduling software create master schedules for all direct care staff. Maintain schedules and reports current at all times.
• Responsible for replacing call-offs from direct care staff.
• Responsible for filling staff vacancies due to PTO, FMLA’s, worker’s comp restrictions/absences, open positions, etc., using the scheduling software and/or system.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• LPN in good standing
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills * Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Benefits: $55,000 – $60,000
