Associate Professor/Professor Early Years Education

The Opportunity
The School of Education is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor/Professor in Early Years Education at an Academic Level D or E to lead a step change in early years provision in Tasmania. The successful applicant will lead the development of an innovative vision of early learning in the Tasmanian context that will have long term, significant impact on educational attainment. The role will be responsible for the strategic growth of an Early Years research group, will have the opportunity to contribute to the physical and learning design of new education precincts in Launceston and Hobart that include provision for childcare and early years, and will work with government and other providers in the early years sector to identify and operationalise key initiatives.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level D and will have a total remuneration package of up to $184,454 comprising base salary within the range of $145,389 to $157,653 plus 17% superannuation.
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level E and will have a total remuneration package of up to $214,551 comprising base salary of $179,781 to $183,377 plus 17% superannuation.
