The Role

Transit Systems NSW has a role for an experienced Finance Manager based in Kingsgrove Sydney.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Production of monthly and annual financial reports
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations and journals with timely resolution of issues
• Reconciliation of all payroll related accounts and recharges including the calculation and posting of monthly payroll accrual journals and entitlements
• Preparation and lodgement of payroll related compliance including FBT return prior to due dates
• Assist with variance analysis and prepare commentary for management and board reporting
• Charter income and accounts receivable support
• Management of relationships with internal and external partners and business partnering
• Preparation of financial data required for submission to statutory bodies
• Support the year end process and annual audit ensuring financial integrity and producing high quality outputs
• Managing accounts payable and receivable including cashflow management
• Ad hoc projects and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• CPA or CA Qualified
• Minimum seven years’ experience in accounting roles with experience in a multi-company group
• Proven experience to meet deadlines with a hands-on approach and high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal skills and stakeholder engagement
• Exposure to a large ERP system and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
