Where you come in:

In this full time permanent role based in our head office in Carlton, you’ll lead a dedicated function to deliver excellent talent and OD outcomes across the organisation. Working closely with the Executive, the Senior Management Team and the People and Culture Leadership Team (PCLT), you’ll develop and deliver on strategic initiatives to attract and retain diverse talent and build capability and performance. Playing a key leadership role in our People, Culture and Risk team, you’ll report directly to our Executive Director, People Culture and Risk.

You will make an impact by:

• Leading the execution and refinement of the L&D strategy, working closely with senior management across the organisation to ensure alignment of approaches
• Leveraging your knowledge of talent and OD best-practice to recommend new innovations and improvements
• Leading talent management and succession planning for the organisation
• Driving the redesign of Performance Management processes
• Leading, coaching and developing the Talent Acquisition and L&D teams (six people in total) to deliver on our talent and learning ambitions

This role requires:

• Demonstrated expertise and experience in Learning and Development, Talent and Performance Management and Employee Engagement / Branding
• Strategic planning skills with strong ability to identify and analyse strategic trends and draw out key insights
• Proven track record leading and building highly engaged and effective teams
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business (Masters would be highly desirable)
