Senior Bid Manager
Location flexible in the UK

Murphy continue to work on some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK, whilst keeping an eye on the future market. We’re looking to strengthen the Work Winning team by bringing in an additional Senior Bid Manager into the Commercial Structure.

You’ll produce highly compelling proposals that clearly articulates Murphy’s value proposition. This is a role that requires an ability to be flexible, motivate and manage people to deliver to the best of their ability within the required deadlines.

The role:
Manage all aspects of the opportunity lifecycle from pre-commencement of procurement through to close and contract award, this include:
* Manage the implementation of the Murphy work winning processes, procedures, and toolkits
* Development and implementation of win strategies
* Review the scope definition within the PQQ or tender documents and produce a detailed launch pack for delivery to the PQQ/Tender teams
* Development and implementation of bid programmes
* Mobilisation and motivation of the allocated PQQ/tender team resources
* Review alternative proposals or re-engineer the client’s specifications and design
* Manage all client dialogue
* Develop and compile presentations for both internal and external audiences
* Manage portal uploads and all clarifications
* Ensure all actions are completed ahead of PQQ/Tenders being submitted
* Update and maintain CRM entries

Your experience:
* Significant experience in the UK infrastructure industry in a similar role
* Proactive bid management experience
* Previous employment touching on the Tunnelling, Heavy Civils or Power markets would be advantageous
* Able to cast a critical eye over potential bids
* Add valued input to re-engineer the client’s specification to add to a value-add engineered solution
