Academic Achievers Hiring for Homeschool Gifted Kindergarten Teacher Job at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

Academic Achievers Educational Services is seeking to add a kindergarten- first grade teacher to our roster of excellent educators. We are currently seeking a teacher who has been certified to work with Highly Gifted Children.

MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN LOS ANGELES AREA (Starts ASAP)

We are looking for a teacher to home school a highly-gifted child in the Pacific Palisades. Hours are likely in the mornings 9:00-12:00.

The teacher will assess the child and prepare interest based 1:1 in-home customized homeschool curriculum. Teach individualized play-based, academically-oriented curriculum for early elementary literacy, writing, and basic math. Looking for traditional academics and creative exploration.

The kindergarten teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program for gifted enrichment.They will need to create a learning environment that guides and encourages the child to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience
• Elementary Teaching Credential

• Gifted or Special Needs Certification

• Classroom experience or similar

• Knowledge of assessments and materials

• Professional, personable, and responsible
• Have excellent recommendations
• Write progress reports and session notes
• Pass Livescan and background check
• Have reliable transportation
