Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced recruiter, ideally with knowledge of the communications and public relations industry. The position will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all vacancies and to build the talent pipeline for the agency.

The position
The part time, fixed-term position is primarily located at either Level 3/132-136 Albert Road, South Melbourne or Level 8/52 Phillip Street, Sydney with the option of working from home up to two days per week.
The key purpose of the position is to provide best practice recruitment support to source and attract high quality talent for the agency.
A day in the life of this position could include: posting an advert on recruitment platforms, participating on an interview panel, scoping a new role with a hiring manager, writing a position description, providing feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates, strategising with a hiring manager about an the offer process for their hard to fill role, updating candidate data on iCIMS (candidate management system), representing the agency at University career events, and identifying candidates and making direct approaches for a senior role.

- Building strong professional relationships with the Human Resources team, hiring managers and internal and external stakeholders;
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all career levels (from interns to senior hires), driving the direct hire of talent wherever possible;
- Optimising technology to support the recruitment process, including the applicant tracking system (iCIMS, and it’s integration with the Human Resources Information System – WorkDay), SEEK and LinkedIn Recruiter;
- Creating and managing a talent pool, including the internship program;
- Developing and implementing search strategies using both digital and traditional recruiting practices to attract high quality candidates;
- Engaging and managing recruitment agency processes when required;
- Mentoring, assisting and guiding hiring managers through the recruitment process; and
- Assisting with talent related projects such as diversity and belonging, and employer branding.

Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in an end-to-end recruitment role, ideally within professional services or the communications industry.
- Knowledge of the communications and public relations industry, and/or understanding of the healthcare, technology and consumer sectors.
- Experience with using and optimising Applicant Tracking System/s.
- Talent pipeline and market mapping experience.
- Excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
- Ability to manage workload autonomously, seeking guidance as required, while working in a fast-paced team environment which includes frequent tight deadlines and multitasking.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Able to work with teams across various geographic locations.
Essential Requirements
- High level information technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
