Position Overview:
The Designer, Tops drives all creative aspects of the product life cycle, from initial concept to production. This person needs to be proficient in creative research, sales/business analytics, and commercialization of trend. The designer should be able to establish and clearly communicate the seasonal point of view to cross functional team, manager and reports. The Designer should exhibit attributes of a strong creative manager: have a strong voice, is curious & solution oriented, utilizes both analytical/creative brain, highly collaborative and is passionate about training and developing direct reports. This person is motivated by our customer and is passionate about the work they do at Maurices.
