What you’ll be doing:

A key role in the UK finance team taking the lead on the preparation of UK statutory filings.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements for all UK registered companies ensuring compliance with accounting standards under UK GAAP to allow timely submission of financial statements to Companies House as required under the Companies Act.
• Preparation of financial statements for UK pension scheme ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards whilst ensuring all scheme/regulatory obligations are met.
• Liaison with external auditors for smooth running of financial statements audit. Ensuring a clean unqualified audit report provides assurance to shareholders that the accounts are true and fair.
• Secure completeness, accuracy and technical adherence in all areas of accounting and reporting in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS and Group Policy.
• Working with the financial reporting team on a monthly basis to ensure all reporting requirements are met.
• Facilitate on monthly accounting and forecasting for the UK Principal Company including liaison with subsidiary markets.
• Working with the Global and UK financial reporting team on a monthly basis to ensure all reporting requirements are met.
• Ad-hoc financial projects as appropriate.

We’d love you to have:

• Qualification – Accounting (ACA/ICAEW)
• Substantial financial accounting & reporting experience either in practice or industry
• It is essential to have knowledge and experience of FRS101
• US GAAP/IFRS experience beneficial
• Ability to solve problems
• Strong communications skills
