Our client is looking to add an additional accounting professional to their team to assist with a variety of transactional accounting and administrative support tasks. This role will be responsible for matching invoices to supporting documents, data entry, and assisting with phone and email follow-up to customers with questions. This is a long-term temporary position with the ability to be hired in a full-time permanent capacity in the future.

What you get to do every day

• Apply payments to subledger accounts
• Answer calls and emails from third parties, including both internal and external stakeholders
• Provide payment status information for individuals inquiring for an update
• Process A/P invoices, ensuring they are appropriately coded and categorized to the correct expense account
• Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning of invoices and the creation of various reports

Requirements
1+ years of prior office experience desired
A long term interest in being a part of an accounting department
Associates Degree in Business preferred
Customer service oriented personality, willing to go the extra mile with every interaction
Strong attention to detail
