We’re looking for a talented AF Print Designer who can nail our brand voice and deliver one of a kind, best in class prints for our products. You will be working side by side with the Director of Print Design and helping push Shinesty’s art to the next level. You must be willing to break boundaries with print ideas and printing techniques, be willing to work concept through production, work at lighting speed, and be a pleasure to work with.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design one of a kind prints & placement prints across all categories of business for inline & customs products.including: boxers, underwear, leisure, suiting, socks, sweaters, accessories & swim

• Support & Collaborate with Director of Print Design from concept through production ensuring we have the best prints in the market
• Review/comment on print strike offs and manage the WIP
• Create factory ready final artwork with measurements and pantones
• Hit deadlines & manage workflow of print design projects
• Be a clear communicator cross functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales & Design
• Implement design feedback and revisions for customs and inline.
• Keep up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and printing standards.
• Maintain the brand’s aesthetic across all designs and printed materials.
• Ready to roll-up sleeves and participate at all levels of the process.

Must Haves:

• Print Design experience – not entry level
• Can effectively deliver innovative prints from concept thru production
• Highly proficient in Photoshop & Illustrator
• Experience in producing a range of printed products including, all over prints, placed prints, knit intarsia & trims
• Portfolio of recent work highlighting print design experience
• Sense of humor – understands the brand’s humorous nature and can convey accordingly
• Apparel Design experience

Nice to haves:

• Illustration abilities +++
• Experience in Mens & Women’s design

Education and Experience:

• Background in print design or similar role & work to back it up – Not Entry Level
