Job Overview
We are looking for a smart and result-driven Bidder with hands-on experience in freelance platforms, especially Upwork. The candidate should be capable of generating quality leads, writing winning proposals, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively bid on platforms like Upwork (primary), Freelancer.
- Identify relevant projects in web development (WordPress, Shopify, PHP, etc.)
- Write customized and high-converting proposals (no copy-paste)
- Handle client communication, requirement understanding, and follow-ups
- Coordinate with the technical team for project estimation
- Maintain proper records of leads, proposals, and conversions
- Work towards closing deals and achieving monthly targets
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT bidding.
- Strong Upwork bidding experience is mandatory
- Good understanding of web technologies (WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and client handling
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a web development agency
- Knowledge of LinkedIn outreach and email marketing
- Experience handling international clients
- Proven track record of project closures on Upwork or similar platforms
KPIs & Performance Metrics
- 5–10 quality bids per day
- 2–5 client responses per week
- Minimum 1–2 project closures per month
Compensation Structure
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Incentives: Attractive commission on each project closure
- Performance-based growth and increments
