Content Creator, Video Editor & Social Media Manager Full Time NEW

Modern Menopause is a Canadian virtual healthcare platform focused on evidence-based menopause care. We support women through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause with personalized treatment options, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal therapies, and virtual care from licensed nurse practitioners and physicians.

We are building a trusted, modern brand in women’s health and are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator/Video Editor & Social Media Manager to help bring that vision to life across digital channels.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for someone who can blend content creation, video editing, graphic design, and social media execution into one cohesive role.

You will create educational and brand-forward content focused on menopause, perimenopause, HRT, symptoms, treatment options, and women’s health in midlife. You should be comfortable working with medically relevant topics, translating clinical information into clear consumer-facing content, and ensuring content remains accurate, credible, and easy to understand. This includes designing static graphics, editing short-form videos, working with in-house footage, adding B-roll and branded visual elements, and posting or scheduling content across our social channels.

This is a freelance role with the potential to grow into a longer-term part-time or full-time opportunity based on fit and business needs. The role may also expand to support other health-related brands under our umbrella.

What You’ll Do:

• Create social media content for Modern Menopause across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
• Design static content such as carousel posts, educational graphics, quote posts, infographics, and promotional assets
• Edit short-form video content for social media using in-house footage, captions, transitions, B-roll, and other enhancements
• Turn clinical or educational information into content that is clear, engaging, and aligned with the brand
• Write or adapt captions and on-screen copy for social posts and video content
• Schedule and publish content based on a content calendar
• Maintain visual consistency across channels and ensure content aligns with our tone, messaging, and brand identity
• Collaborate with our team to brainstorm new content ideas, campaigns, and educational series
• Repurpose long-form or existing content into social-first formats
• Support content creation for other wellness or health brands under the company when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in content creation, social media management, graphic design, and video editing
• Strong portfolio showing social media content, branded design work, and short-form video editing
• Ability to create content and visuals that feels modern, polished, and credible in a healthcare or wellness setting
• Experience editing Instagram Reels, short-form YouTube videos, and other vertical video formats
• Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of social media best practices, including platform-specific formatting and trends
• Strong visual taste and ability to create clean, elevated, on-brand assets
• Excellent written English and attention to detail
• Comfortable taking clinical or health-related input and translating it into accessible content
• Strong organization and ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital health, telehealth, wellness, women’s health, or healthcare marketing
• Ability to perform professional video editing (incl. motion graphics, lighting correction, audio-visual synchronization, transitions, B-roll integration)
• Experience creating and editing health-related educational content
• Familiarity with content related to menopause, HRT, women’s health, or lifestyle medicine
• Experience with content planning, analytics, and performance optimization
• Ability to work with brand guidelines while also bringing fresh creative ideas
