Teletrac Navman Hiring for Weekend Travel Operator Job at Milton Keynes, England Full Time

As a Travel Operator reporting to the Travel Team Leader, you will work weekends to provide support to field engineers to aid installs, service calls and upgrades of our Fleet Tracking products. Alongside this you will provide high quality support to internal and third parties with real-time and accurate travel information. You will work remotely from home initially (we will provide you with the necessary equipment), however the role is based at our Teletrac Navman office in Kents Hill, so you should live within a sensible commuting didtsnace to Milton Keynes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The hours are 06:00 to 14:00, Saturday and Sunday (including 25 & 26 December & 1 January if they fall on a Saturday or Sunday) – Currently, the ability to work from home, with reliable and fast internet is essential until we can return to our Milton Keynes office where you would be based in the future.

To break it down, as a Travel Operator you will:

• Source and validate traffic & travel information from a variety of contacts, keeping abreast of traffic incidents and trends in traffic flow.
• Process, input and disseminate information within strict timescales in order to provide real-time, accurate, high quality and consistent traffic & travel information to support internal and third party products and services.
• Provide support to field engineers to aid installs, service calls and upgrades of our Fleet Tracking products.
• Fault management and reporting.
• Complete administrative and office tasks as required.

The need to cover shifts, holidays and undertake training outside of normal working hours will be required.

• Ability to collaborate/integrate with cross-functional departments; a strong team player

• The desirable experience/knowledge that will help you:
• Good all-round ability and knowledge within an office environment
• Previous experience within an Operations Centre/ Control Room environment
• Good geographical knowledge
