Commercial Analyst – CRE, AllHomes, Developers – Sydney Office – Permanent Full Time

A bit about the role.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner of Domain Group, this role will see you partner with the business and support the business in optimising performance. You will provide analysis and insights to help the business make decisions. You will be a conduit between finance and the business teams by translating business and finance information for the various stakeholder groups.

Please note this is a full time permanent opportunity and we are open for the role to be based either in Sydney/ Melbourne, based on the candidates preference.

Your day to day will look something like this:

• Supporting the business partner to achieve key objectives
• Working closely with Management Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Enabling business decisions supported by financial criteria
• Managing the budget and reforecast process for your area of responsibility
• Develop a deep understanding of your business’s revenue and cost drivers, and its strategic goals
• Provide analysis of potential growth opportunities and provide advice to sales directors
• Working with Data Analysts and automating retrieval of data and improvement of analytics and reporting
• Identifying and driving business process efficiencies
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across multi-functional teams

We would love you to have:

• Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills with a solution-oriented approach
• Experience using complex financial models
• The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong commercial acumen
• Tableau or Power BI experience preferred but not essential
• CA/CPA preferred but not essential
• Prior analyst experience, preferably in a commercial finance role
