The Career Opportunity…

As a Training Coordinator, your role is to oversee all Call Center hiring and training needs. Our Customer facing call center provides phone support for Russell Cellular’s 680+ retail locations and hosts new hire training classes weekly.

Recruiting Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

• Partner with ES Talent Acquisition to source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a potential employee pipeline.
• Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
• Take ownership of candidate experience by working with Employee Services Talent Acquisition to design and manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
• Conduct in person interviews to screen talent
• Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
• Manage onboarding and new hire process. Ascentis offer processing as well as email onboarding.
• Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
• Work with Employee Services Talent Acquisition to ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Training Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

• Responsible for maintaining the standards of Russell Cellular’s talent by providing comprehensive training at the start of employment and as needed throughout employment.
• Work closely with department leadership to determine areas for employee improvement, developing training courses for new and existing employees and establishing methods to track employee performance after the completion of training.

• Develop and maintain new hire training curriculum
• Develop and maintain ongoing training and development curriculum.
• Analyze the effectiveness of training and make appropriate modifications if needed
• Collaborate with department leadership to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees
• Develop systems to monitor training completion and certification

Skills you will need

• Retail wireless sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of current call center operations
• Creative and problem-solving skills to accommodate the learning needs of adult learners
• Experience in a fast-paced learning and development or training focused role.
• Experience in contact center or high-volume recruiting.
• Skill and understanding of curriculum and learning development
• Ability to design, develop, and deliver new hire training curriculum
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high level presentation skills
• Sense of humor, positive, collaborative, outgoing, and flexible
