We have an exciting opportunity for a positive and solutions focussed HR Coordinator to join our team, based at our head office in Sydney. This position is currently being recruited on a 12 months fixed term basis and offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the HR function of a global organisation.

The Opportunity:

The HR Coordinator partners with a national team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, who are focussed on recruiting high volumes of blue and white collar staff members. This position centralises several pre-employment activities to ensure a consistent approach, and to uphold quality and compliance standards. Whilst your primary focus will be Talent Acquisition you will also help to support general People Operations activities when needed and will be open to expanding further in this space as your journey continues with FedEx.

• Access a range of HR systems to conduct a range of pre-employment checks
• High volume processing and data entry
• Check candidate submissions for accuracy and follow-up outstanding paperwork accordingly
• Maintain recruitment forms and centralised folders
• Collate and distribute weekly internal job postings
• Track referrals including processing and issuing referral gift cards to eligible employees
• Help to connect the local team to our overseas shared services team

Experience required:

• Minimum 1-year experience in an administrative role supporting a team of professionals
• Experience in a junior HR role highly regarded
• High level computer skills including Microsoft Office essential
