You will be up to date and engaged in current educational theory and practices, whilst engaged with the profession (perhaps through a combination of current/recent professional experience and engagement with professional bodies). You will also be expected to be up to date with both Ofsted and QAA requirements for Initial Teacher Training programmes.
With your previous experience of teaching and mentoring you will be able to engage with students using a variety of modes- including face to face and blended learning on full, part time and short courses. The post holder will take responsibility for the development and delivery of learning, teaching and assessment across the Initial Teacher Training qualifications delivered within the University Centre and fulfill the role of personal tutor and programme leader as required.
