This is an excellent opportunity for an established HR Business Partner to support on the new Selbourne Contract with responsibility as the People Lead.
You will proactively partner and collaborate with Business Leaders to provide pragmatic and commercially focussed solutions to bring our People agenda to life and to support in the delivery of business strategy by creating an environment of positive people management; ensuring we attract, develop and retain talented people who are fully engaged.

The role is home based, with travel to Naval HQ at Fareham and Portsmouth.

What you will be doing:
Understanding the profile of the business area, the strategic goals and develop, agreeing and delivering an operationally aligned People Plan, in conjunction with Divisional HR Strategy, to support business aims.
Partnering and collaborating with senior management teams, and internal/ external delivery partners, to provide pragmatic and viable solutions to bring the people agenda to life as a highly credible and trusted business partner.
Facilitating and supporting on driving a culture of a ‘great place to work’, including contributing to the Inclusion and Diversity Agenda, to deliver high employee retention embedding and upholding our EVP and being the voice of our workforce where needed,
Leading redundancy and transformation programmes and engage the people workstream for strategic transactions (sales/ bids, TUPE transfers, acquisitions, disposals) including coordinating internal stakeholders and building effective working relationships with our client’ partners, undertaking comprehensive due diligence, assessing risk and making commercial recommendations.
Providing commercially focussed advice and support to managers on complex employee relations/ET/ACAS issues in line with company procedures
What we’re looking for:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, preferably within a commercial, with a track record of strong change and transformation experience
Competent employee relations, Tupe in/out and redundancy knowledge
You should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop strong and trusted relationships with key senior stakeholders to support and enable strategic business goals.
You should have experience of working in a matrix organisation in conjunction with central functions & delivery partners
