CLASS 1 DRIVERS REQUIRED – TRAMPERS OR DAY MEN WITH POSSIBLE NIGHTS OUT Full Time NEW

This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of loads including Curtainsider, flatbeds, and lowloader work.

As a key player in our logistics operations, you will ensure the safe and efficient delivery of freight across diverse routes within Ireland.

Allocated vehicle – unless lorry is up for MOT so not chopping and changing.

*Duties*

* Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles* Ensuring timed deliveries to the best that road conditions allow.* Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.* Follow planned routes accurately while adapting to traffic conditions to meet delivery schedules.* Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.* Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road.

*Requirements*

* Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.* Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.* Experience of tramper work is desirable but not strictly a deal breaker.* Good geographical knowledge of Ireland.* Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation.* Candidates with previous delivery driver experience and ADR certifications will stand out.
