About The Position
The Black Seal Boiler Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring high-pressure boilers and related equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and industry standards. This role involves performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting operational issues to maintain production schedules. The operator will also maintain detailed logs, collaborate with engineering teams, and adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Support for emergency response activities is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- Valid High Pressure Boiler Operator’s License or equivalent certification required.
- Strong understanding of boiler control systems, steam distribution, and auxiliary equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to boiler operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Technical certification or training in boiler operation preferred.

- Adhere to all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support emergency response activities related to steam and boiler systems as necessary.
