We are seeking a creative and passionate female Fashion Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience who are eager to grow in the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design Apparel: Create stylish and marketable clothing designs that align with current trends. You will sketch ideas and develop concepts for various collections.
– Fabric Selection: Research and select appropriate materials that match design vision while ensuring comfort and durability.
– Trend Analysis: Stay updated on fashion trends and competitor designs to keep our collections fresh and appealing.
– Collaborate: Work closely with other team members, including seamstresses and marketing personnel, to ensure designs are accurately produced and effectively promoted.
– Sample Creation: Oversee the development of samples, making adjustments as necessary based on fit, style, and production capabilities.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should possess a degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Creativity and an eye for detail are essential, along with strong sketching and computer-aided design (CAD) skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical as you will be working with others to bring designs from concept to reality.
This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to feedback, with a strong understanding of the fashion landscape to help build unique and innovative designs.
