Job Description
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Rajkot, India. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting and hold a graduate degree. This full-time position requires a male candidate who will work from the office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure all transactions are documented correctly.
2. **Monthly Reconciliation**: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify that company accounts match bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
3. **Tax Preparation**: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations in a timely manner.
4. **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into budget performance and identifying areas for cost-saving.
5. **Budget Assistance**: Help in the preparation of the company budget, analyzing financial data and advising on financial planning and forecasting.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in accounting software. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are crucial for success in this role. Effective communication skills are also important, as the accountant will work closely with team members and may interact with clients. A proactive attitude and the ability to meet deadlines are expected in this fast-paced environment.
