We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Nuapada, India. This is a full-time position ideal for fresh graduates with a diploma in accounting or a related field. You will assist in daily accounting tasks and gain valuable experience in the finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Data Entry**: Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software to maintain up-to-date records.
2. **Invoice Processing**: Assist in preparing and processing invoices for payments, ensuring all documentation is complete and correct.
3. **Account Reconciliation**: Help reconcile bank statements and accounts, identifying any discrepancies and resolving issues timely.
4. **Financial Reporting**: Support the preparation of monthly financial reports by gathering data and assisting in analysis.
5. **Budget Tracking**: Monitor departmental budgets by tracking expenses and reporting variances to senior accountants.
6. **Compliance**: Ensure that all accounts comply with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates must possess strong attention to detail and have good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with accounting software is essential.
