About the Role
We are looking for a highly strategic and creatively driven Social Media Strategy Lead who understands how modern content ecosystems work — beyond posting calendars and trend participation.
This role is for someone who can lead thinking, shape narratives, guide creative execution, and drive platform-wise growth through strong editorial and strategic direction.
This is not a conventional social media management role.
This is a leadership role at the intersection of:

You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure every piece of content aligns with brand goals, audience behavior, and platform relevance.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic & Creative Leadership –
Lead overall social media and content strategy across platforms
Identify high-performing content angles, storytelling opportunities, and growth patterns
Shape hook direction, content packaging, narrative flow, and platform-first content strategies
Maintain strong editorial quality and strategic consistency across all content outputs
Translate brand objectives into scalable and engaging content directions
Team Leadership & Collaboration –
Lead and mentor a team of Social Media Manager and Intern
Collaborate closely with Designers and Writers to build and maintain consistent brand assets and communication styles
Guide creative teams with clear strategic direction instead of task-based execution
Ensure smooth coordination between strategy, design, content, and execution teams
Client & Stakeholder Management –
Act as the key bridge between clients and the internal creative/content team
Understand client expectations and translate them into actionable strategic directions
Manage end-to-end feedback cycles across content and campaign deliverables
Ensure timely communication, alignment, and execution across stakeholders
Maintain strong client satisfaction and relationship quality through proactive ownership and strategic clarity
Performance & Growth Thinking –
Analyze content performance and audience behavior to refine strategy continuously
Identify what works, why it works, and how it can scale across platforms
Bring platform thinking instead of generic social media execution
Focus on building long-term brand relevance, engagement quality, and content effectiveness

1. Content Strategy & Performance –
Improve overall content performance across social platforms through strategic planning and optimization
Increase engagement quality, audience retention, reach, and content shareability
Build platform-specific content frameworks that consistently deliver measurable growth
Ensure content output aligns with brand positioning and audience behavior
Success Metrics:
Growth in engagement rate and organic reach
Improvement in watch time, retention, shares, and saves
Increase in platform-wise audience growth
Consistency in high-performing content formats
2. Creative & Editorial Quality –
Maintain high editorial standards across all content deliverables
Ensure strong storytelling, hook quality, visual consistency, and content packaging
Minimize quality gaps before content publishing through strong review systems
Success Metrics:
Reduction in revision cycles and publishing errors
Consistency in brand communication quality
Improvement in content approval efficiency
Positive internal and client feedback on creative quality
3. Team Leadership & Operational Efficiency –
Effectively manage and mentor Social Media Managers, Writers, and Interns
Improve collaboration efficiency between content, strategy, and design teams
Create structured workflows for execution, reviews, and feedback management
Success Metrics:
Team productivity and delivery consistency
Reduced turnaround time for deliverables
Improved cross-functional coordination
Team development and ownership levels
4. Client Satisfaction & Relationship Management –
Build strong trust and communication with clients through strategic clarity and execution quality
Ensure smooth management of feedback loops and expectation alignment
Actively solve content and communication bottlenecks before escalation
Success Metrics:
Client satisfaction and retention rates
Timely closure of feedback and revisions
Reduction in escalations and communication gaps
Positive client relationship health indicators
5. Brand Consistency & Strategic Alignment –
Ensure all social communication aligns with the brand’s positioning, tone, and long-term objectives
Maintain consistency across campaigns, formats, and platform narratives
Continuously evolve the brand’s content direction based on audience and market insights
Success Metrics:
Consistency in brand voice and visual direction
Improved audience perception and engagement quality
Strong alignment between content strategy and business goals
What We’re Looking For
4–6 years of experience in Social Media Strategy, Content Strategy, Creative Strategy, or Editorial Leadership
Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and emerging social ecosystems
Experience managing cross-functional content and creative teams
Strong communication and client management skills
Excellent understanding of content performance metrics and audience psychology
Sharp instinct for storytelling, hooks, content formats, and editorial quality
Ability to lead ideas, give constructive feedback, and drive creative excellence
Strong ownership mindset with strategic thinking ability
