Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct research and analysis to develop medical devices and equipment: As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis to design, develop, and maintain medical devices and equipment used in healthcare settings.
2. Test and evaluate medical equipment: You will be required to test and evaluate medical equipment to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals: Working closely with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and challenges in order to develop effective solutions.
4. Troubleshoot and repair medical equipment: Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
5. Stay updated on industry advancements: Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in biomedical engineering to incorporate new technologies into medical equipment designs.
Required Skills and Expectations:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, pharmacy, biology, or related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Knowledge of medical equipment and technology.
4. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with healthcare professionals.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
