Role Description

We are seeking an Intermediate Designer for a full-time, on-site position in our Oakville, ON office. The Intermediate Designer will be responsible for translating project needs into creative and functional design solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing project timelines. This role requires hands-on collaboration with project teams, ensuring designs align with client expectations and are executed to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in interior and architectural design software tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit
• Strong skills in drafting, technical drawing, and space layout planning
• Experience in project management, timeline coordination, and vendor communications
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture selections
• Excellent creative problem-solving and conceptual design capabilities
• Ability to balance aesthetics with practical considerations, such as durability and budget management
• Relevant experience in interior design for residential or multi-residential projects is highly valuable
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or a related field and membership or eligibility for membership in relevant design associations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
