Business Systems Analyst – Fixed Income Full Time

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – Fixed Income. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support frontline trading operations within the Fixed Income Technology team, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment that combines business analysis, automation, and data analytics.

Pay rate range (CAD): $36.17/hr – $43.41/hr

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from front office stakeholders
• Support and maintain fixed income trading applications such as TOMS, Broadway, Axe, etc.
• Contribute to automation projects to streamline trading workflows
• Assist with data analytics initiatives to improve decision-making capabilities
• Partner with technology teams to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot issues
• Support project-based work and routine business-as-usual activities in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skill-Set

• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
• Strong understanding of application-based environments, especially in financial services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Critical thinking with the ability to problem-solve quickly
• Ability to learn new systems and processes effectively
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with fixed income applications such as Bloomberg, Broadway, or Axe
• Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python
• Front Office experience in trading environments
• Familiarity with automation tools and data analytics techniques
