Job Description
A Shadow Teacher supports a child with special learning or behavioral needs in a school environment. The teacher helps the student participate in classroom activities, improve communication and social skills, and follow the school routine independently.
Key Responsibilities
Support the student during classroom learning and activities
Help improve attention, communication, and social interaction
Assist the child in completing classwork and homework
Encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation
Coordinate with parents, class teachers, and therapists
Maintain daily progress notes and observations
Help the student become more independent
