Analyst
Richmond Asset Management is a private equity real estate investment firm acquiring and managing a growing portfolio of multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial properties across Southwestern Ontario. We are hiring an Analyst to join our growing business. This role offers exceptional exposure to real estate private equity and the opportunity to work closely with leadership in a lean, collaborative environment.
The Analyst will play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of our investments – from analyzing new opportunities to strengthening the performance of our existing portfolio. This role is ideal for someone that is ambitious, analytical, detail-oriented, and hungry to build a career in real estate private equity.
The Richmond Asset Management office is located at 302 Bay Street, Toronto, and the position is in-person, with some remote work flexibility.
Core Responsibilities
Investments
· Underwrite new real estate investment opportunities and share recommendations on new deals
· Evaluate real estate market data, economic, and demographic information
· Complete due diligence reviews, assist in preparing transaction materials and closing documents
· Support the preparation and sourcing of lender options
· Prepare property specific business plans
Portfolio Asset Management
· Monthly asset management reviews on portfolio performance and property-level reporting, identifying areas for improvement with recommendations
· Research and execute on value-add initiatives, drive up value to the properties and deliver strong return on invested capital
· Assist with refinancing strategy
Marketing and Business Development
· Support Marketing and Business Development initiatives
Professional Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, economics, or related field
· Relevant real estate industry experience is an asset
· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint; Word; Outlook; and ability to learn and master new applications

· Excellent analytical and financial skills
