My leading client based in London is looking for an experience Senior User Researcher for an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend

Please note this role will be hybrid with an expectation of 50% attendance in the London office

As the Senior User Researcher, you will lead the planning, design and delivery of user research activities to help the organisation get a deep understanding of the people that use digital and data services and products, to support delivery of wider policy

Principal accountabilities

• Produce research outputs that inform service, content and interaction design so that digital services and products work well for users and achieve the desired business outcome.
• Establish the user research as a function on the project. Set standards and behavioural expectations for user researchers and embed user research as a function into the delivery of all digital and data services and product.
• Work with senior leaders and policy teams to help them understand, map and articulate their transformation or delivery objectives. Help them understand agile ways of working as well as the user researcher’s skill set and to help them articulate the possibilities in their area for digital transformation.
• Help teams within the organisation make decisions within financial constraints which lead to improved services and products that better meet user needs.
• Build up an internal research and insight knowledge base that can be published and contribute to organisational wide understanding about user needs and how policies and programmes can use digital to help meet those needs. Help guide organisational decision-making by communicating research best practice.
• Act as an advocate for user-centred design and development
