Medicine Hat School District No. 76 Crescent Heights High School Probationary Full Time Specialized Teacher Assignment August 27, 2026- June 30, 2027 An opportunity exists for a dynamic, caring, and dedicated educator in the role of 1.0 FTE specialized classroom Teacher at Crescent Heights High School. This educator will value: a strong focus on continual learning, growth, and excellence. This individual will value and have knowledge of Junior High School Redesign philosophy/practice, and will also be a positive team player who is collaborative. A student-centered paradigm, progressive research-based assessment practices, knowledge and commitment to the Collaborative Response Model are traits this educator will need to demonstrate.
Elements Of This Role Will Include
- Individualized programming for those with complex needs
- Foundational understanding of the creation and implementation of ISP’s
- Inclusive mindset
- Ability to collaborate and manage a support team (EA’s, OT, SLP and outside services)

Crescent Heights High School has a student population of approximately 1170 students in Grades 7-12 and is located in the North Central area of the city.
