About The Position
CENTERS, LLC is a professional management firm specializing in facility, operation, and program management for higher education. This position will work on-site at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Sonnentag Center, a major athletic, recreation, and event center, set to open summer of 2024. The new Sonnentag Center will serve as a venue for university and community events, concerts, and home to Eau Claire Men’s and Women’s Athletics.
Requirements
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Current personal training certification from ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA; additional NCCA-accredited certifications are often acceptable and will be reviewed for consideration
- Experience with Fitness Assessment Equipment, including but not limited to: Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Body Fat measurement with calipers, Waist to Hip Ratio, Cardiovascular Testing, Muscular Strength and Endurance Testing, and Flexibility Testing
- Ability to customize Exercise Prescription and developing progressive workouts for clients
- Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of clients
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Personal Trainers will help clients achieve their physical fitness goals by evaluating their clients’ current fitness level, developing personalized training programs, and monitoring client progress.
- Conduct fitness assessments
- Develop customized training programs for clients
- Demonstrate proper exercise form and safely instruct client through an effective personal training session
- Provide quality customer service and communication to all clients and potential clients
- Utilize provided software for communication, program planning, and client and financial record keeping
- Communicate effectively with supervisor
- Follow and enforce all program and facility policies
- Respond and assist as needed during emergencies
- Attend staff meetings, in-services, and trainings
- Promote the fitness program and services
