Nearly one year after our remodel and reopening, The Custom House in Avila Beach is thriving—and we’re just getting started. As a beloved local favorite with renewed energy, we’re looking to add motivated, passionate team members to grow with us.
Situated in the heart of Avila Beach, Custom House has been a cherished part of the community for years. With our newly updated space, we’ve modernized while keeping the charm that our loyal guests love. We’re seeking energetic, dependable, and service-focused individuals to join our team and help create exceptional guest experiences every day.
Our Bartenders play an integral role in ensuring our guests have exceptional dining experiences. We are interested in growing our team, and are in search of a true professional. The right person will be passionate about food and service, and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition, and previous experience working as a server in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food service regulations
- Prior experience as a Bartender or server
- Wine and Spirit knowledge
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to stay on your feet for an extended period of time and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Able to pass a background authorization
