Role Description

The Area Business Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The role involves building and managing a sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, meeting sales targets, and enhancing the company’s market presence in assigned territories. The Area Business Manager will also establish strong relationships with healthcare professionals, manage distributor relationships, oversee territory performance, and drive product awareness in alignment with the organization’s goals and patient-centric values.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in sales strategy development, market analysis, and achieving sales targets.
• Experience in team management, mentorship, and building collaborative relationships.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, particularly in drug delivery or CNS therapies, is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization to drive results.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and adaptability to field-based work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field is required. An MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relevant sales or business management role. Prior pharma experience will be an asset.
