Responsibilities
Leading external audit assignments from the initial planning stages through to final completion.
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships across a variety of industry sectors.
Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
Identifying and addressing key audit risks while ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing.
Utilising advanced audit software and technological solutions to deliver quality services on time and budget.
Supervise the daily progress of audit assignments to ensure efficiency and technical accuracy.
Review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and technical support.
Qualifications and Skills
ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist.
Proven experience in leading audits from planning to completion.
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
Previous experience mentoring and supervising junior staff members.
