Engineering Geologist
Location: Leeds
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their talented and close-knit team in Leeds. Due to continued project wins, they are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist who enjoys working within a supportive medium-sized consultancy where progression and technical development are encouraged.
The Role
* Supervising and logging ground investigations
* Soil and rock logging to current British Standards
* Preparing factual ground investigation reports
* Coordinating site works, subcontractors and laboratory testing
* Assisting with interpretative reporting and geotechnical assessments
* Supporting geotechnical and geoenvironmental project delivery
* Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Requirements
* Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subject
* Previous consultancy experience preferred
* Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Motivated and team-oriented attitude
