What does a Delivery Driver do?
As a Full-Time Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, you’re the key to acquiring and maintaining customer loyalty! Your exciting day starts by verifying the correct products and accessories for delivery, ensuring they’re clean and in perfect operating condition. You’ll load, secure, and protect these items in your delivery vehicle, then hit the road, following your schedule while safely navigating the streets. Once you arrive at your customer’s home or business, it’s showtime!
You’ll offload, install, and even demonstrate the merchandise, leaving everyone excited about their new purchase. Plus, you’ll assist with returns, conduct routine service calls, and keep our warehouse neat and organized. As you document your daily vehicle movements and confirmations, you’ll bring smiles and satisfaction to customers, all while contributing to our energetic and customer-focused culture. It’s a role that truly makes a difference!
What we’re looking for in a Delivery Driver
To thrive as a Full-Time Delivery Driver at Aaron’s, you’ll need a blend of technical savvy and people skills! First and foremost, a neatly groomed appearance and good communication skills are essential, as you’ll be the friendly face of our company. A strong technical aptitude or working knowledge of electronic products will help you demonstrate items effectively. Be prepared for physically demanding tasks like lifting and dollying between 50-300 pounds, ensuring you stay fit while you work!
Good driving skills are critical, along with a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary from 8 am to 9 pm. You’ll also need to pass a D.O.T. physical and comply with the company’s Driver Qualification Policy.
