As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. This role also involves access support, customer service, and clear communication while assisting with security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining detailed activity logs, and communicating clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
